Eskalmendi together with Etxekit, Ténicas Electrónicas Reunidas (TER), Arregui, Wireless Logic and Tecnalia are participating in a research project (SATU - within the Hazitek programme), financed by the Basque Government and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), to develop temporary, intelligent and green architectural solutions for new urban needs. The aim of the project is to contribute to solving the requirements of reorganisation and transformation of cities in an agile and flexible way so that they can adapt to the new needs and challenges they face. The SATU project is therefore very much in line with their strategy to advance in building green solutions in the city, for which they will develop a modular green roof adaptable not only to ETXEKIT modules but also to other urban facilities.
